By downloading, installing, or using the OliveAnime application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

OliveAnime is a free mobile application that allows users to:

• Browse and discover anime and manga titles
• Create and manage personal watchlists and reading lists
• View detailed information about anime, manga, and characters
• Play anime-related mini games
• Receive personalized anime and manga recommendations
• Manage multiple local user profiles

The App uses the Jikan API to retrieve anime and manga data from MyAnimeList. OliveAnime is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to MyAnimeList or Jikan.

3. User Accounts

OliveAnime uses local profiles stored on your device. No online account registration is required. You are responsible for:

• The content and accuracy of your profile information
• Backing up your data if desired (using the export feature)
• Any activity that occurs under your profiles on your device

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
• Use automated systems or scripts to excessively access the third-party APIs through the App
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its components
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Intellectual Property

The OliveAnime application, including its design, code, and original content, is the intellectual property of the OliveAnime team. All anime and manga data, images, and related content displayed in the App are the property of their respective owners and are provided through the Jikan API.

All trademarks, logos, and brand names appearing in the App belong to their respective owners. Their use in this App does not imply endorsement.

6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including:

• Jikan API: For anime and manga data retrieval. The availability and accuracy of this data is subject to the Jikan API's terms and uptime.
• MyAnimeList: As the original source of anime and manga data accessed through Jikan.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content provided by these third-party services.

7. Content Disclaimer

OliveAnime provides access to anime and manga information that may include content intended for mature audiences. The App includes an NSFW content filter (enabled by default) to help manage content visibility. Users are responsible for configuring content filters according to their preferences.

We do not create, own, or control the anime and manga content displayed in the App. All content is sourced from publicly available databases.

8. Limitation of Liability

OliveAnime is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The data provided will be accurate or complete
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

In no event shall OliveAnime or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Data Loss

Since all data is stored locally on your device, OliveAnime is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app uninstallation, operating system updates, or any other cause. We recommend using the export feature to back up important data regularly.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the App at any time without prior notice.
